From an informal first visit to the office to getting my parents ready for their unwanted move to a care home, Fiona and her team have shown extraordinary understanding and compassion not only for their needs but for me as a carer. They did not take advantage by suggesting more hours than were needed and efficiently and effectively met my parents needs in the friendly and gentle way two parents with dementia needed. It’s only a shame that Caremark didn’t do live in care as I would have loved them to carry on

The team at Caremark looked after my Dad for about two years before he finally moved into a care home. The care and companionship he received from all the staff was wonderful. We were always reassured that Dad would be visited and checked regularly and that he was eating and looking after himself as well as he could. Whenever I was there and one of the carer’s turned up he would unfailingly say “am I glad to see you”, and I do know that he truly meant that.

Mum had a stroke 4 years ago and we knew we would need support after she got out of hospital. Fiona and her team have been marvellous . Always friendly and attentive to Mum’s needs as well as making sure medication has been taken . With Caremark’s support Mum is still living in her own home at the age of 92.

The team at Caremark have been providing Dad with care and support for over three years. He is nearly 97 and blind but has a very active mind and the spirit of a much younger man. Caremark provide much needed support with his meals and shopping trips, and just as importantly regular company and conversation which he really values. Having consistent carers who know what Dad likes and how he likes it is so important. Caremark are responsive to his changing needs and happy to liaise with the family to do be able to meet his needs effectively.
